History
In 1978, a small group of Filipino-Americans met and organized FAAFC in Foster City, California. The group felt that there was a
need for identification of Filipinos as vital ethnic group and that they could contribute to the socio-economic, cultural and political
development of the newly charted city of Foster city.
- FAAFC was Incorporated in 1979.
- FAAFC amended Constitution in March 12, 2004 and March 18, 2005 to extend memberships to San Francisco Bay Area
and persons who have expressed desire to participate and promote the purpose of the organization.
